The AWFD Happiness Project
As I pull the newsletter together, I wanted to make sure I had a post describing my intention to start an AWFD Happiness Project this month. Based on the work of Gretchen Rubin, author of The Happiness Project, this on-going mastermind group (or should I simply say “support group”?) will focus on cultivating a “happiness mindset” which will be unique to ourselves. If you’ve not got the time to read the book, then head over to the related websites (click on the images to be taken there.)
Gretchen’s Four Splendid Truths of Happiness
First: To be happier, you have to think about feeling good, feeling bad, and feeling right, in an atmosphere of growth.
Second: One of the best ways to make yourself happy is to make other people happy; One of the best ways to make other people happy is to be happy yourself.
Third: The days are long, but the years are short.
Fourth: You’re not happy unless you think you’re happy.
I’m going to initiate the AWFD Happiness Project through another blog post – scheduled for this week. You’ll have access to the documents you may want, as well as some other resources of use to us. Keep your eyes open!
