New Column in Mortuary Management…and a great quotation!
December 3, 2009
Hello, everyone;
Right now I’m holding my breath…my computer is “behaving badly,” and I’m wondering if it’s time to get a new one. Sheesh – it’s like thinking your best friend (after all, I spend 8 hours a day with this being!) is not longer interested in having a conversation with you; and even considering shaking off this mortal coil. Poor thing. I’ve backed-up all my documents, and hope for the best. But will hope be enough?
I should probably go computer shopping soon, just in case!
There’s a new column in the most recent issue of Mortuary Management. The next one I write will be about the power of self-care to change your life, I think. That’s been the big issue for most of the women members I’ve been speaking with recently. As December adds so much to our already more than busy lives, we forget the essentials –and self-care is truly an essential.
On that note, you ARE planning on being with Sally and I on Tuesday, December 8th, aren’t you? Here are those details again – and remember, all are welcome (members, of course -and non-members). I want everyone to benefit from this time with Sally. She is so calming, and centering…just being with her for 60 minutes can turn your day around! So, mark your calendar, and join in:
Time: 11:00am PT/ 12:00 Noon MT/1:00 pm CT/ 2:00pm ET
Phone: (712) 432-0111
Participant Access Code: 675234#
And to close, some brilliant wisdom from Dale Carnegie. Many have said the same thing, differently – but Dale had a way of simply stating the essential truth:
“It isn’t what you have, or who you are, or where you are, or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about.”
So… happy thinking!
