You’re Taking Back Your Rightful Place
As you all know, in America’s early days, women were much more likely to be the ones most intimately involved with caring for the dead. It was women who washed, shaved and dressed corpses for quick burial services, a necessity before refrigeration or modern embalming techniques took hold.
But the Civil War changed everything. Instead of mothers or wiveswomen, male “experts” took dominion over caring for the dead. For the past 144 years, it’s been the rare woman who came into funeral service. But, that’s changing.
Get the Support You Need to Succeed
“As the old saying goes, this is a men’s club.” So said one candid young female funeral director I contacted. She echoed the feelings of other women in funeral service: that it was a challenging place to be, but that she wouldn’t be or do anything else. “I gave up a career making 4 times the salary but I feel this is the place I need to be.”
It is for her, and for you, that I founded this association. It is my goal to nurture you, as you care for others. Teleseminars and Webinars with leading life coaches and self-development leaders, networking opportunities, and mentoring relationships through Mastermind groups will all serve to provide you with the means to live healthy, centered lives, while doing the work you are called to do.
Membership dues are affordable, and the rewards plentiful.
