“In Lieu of Complaining” – A Society of American Florists Publication

Home / Free Resources / “In Lieu of Complaining” – A Society of American Florists Publication

Sometime ago, Amanda Long, of the Society of American Florists (www.safnow.org) contacted me to ask for AWFD assistance in putting together a Round Table of  funeral directors and florists. Her goal was to open up a dialog between the two “camps” and to explore way in which funeral homes and their local florists can work together to better serve their client families.

I was delighted to speak with her, and offered her some names and contact details, including our own Advisory Board member, Kristan McNames, of Grace Funeral and Cremation.

This article was the outcome of the round table conversation. I’m delighted that AWFD had some small part to play in its development. It’s beautifully-written, and chock-full of insights.

Amanda and her editor were so kind in giving me permission to make this article available on the AWFD site, as a free resource. Thank you so much – this is great information, and I’m delighted to share it.
