Dreaming…Together!

One of my personal heroes is John Lennon. Granted, I was in love with him when I was 10 years old, and his musical/political career as a member of the Beatles and as a ‘solo’ performer wove its way into the fabric of my early adulthood; but there’s more to it than that. He was a visionary, and as many such far-seeing people, he was troubled and had a quiet vulnerability.

Enough of that reflective stuff. What I wanted to share was this quotation from him:

“A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality.”

And I’m inviting you all to come dream with me.

I’ve written long and often about my dream for the AWFD: to be a robust association for women in the field – one that supports them in their professional lives, but also enhances their lives outside the office. And I know I can’t do it alone. I need companions on this journey. Come join me, and your ‘sisters.’ What d’ya say? :)
