Dispelling the Old “What IF?”

Posted on: 01-21-2010 Posted in: Membership News, Professional Education, Tele-seminar News, Woman-Owned Vendors and Entrepreneurs, Women Helping Women

For the past 2 and a half days, I’ve been in the dark. Literally. Northern California has had a series of major storms roll through – enough wind and rain to knock out our power, sometime Monday afternoon. Yesterday was the worst, as I was fraught with concern: I didn’t have the dial-in information for our tele-event with Cookie…what would happen? I spent at least half the day, in the dark, under the redwood trees, brainstorming and fretting.

Guess what? It was all a waste of time and energy. The ol’ “What IF?” had gotten a hold of me, and I let myself get swept up in the fear and anxiety. It was a perfect prelude to today’s time with Cookie. Why? Because Cookie talked about fear, anxiety, and getting out of our comfort zone, to reach for the best personal and professional life possible. Staying aligned with our core values.  And getting the support we need while we take inspired action to create the life we want.

It was grand! I hope you were there; but if you weren’t, we understand. You’re busy women! The call will be uploaded to the member’s page within 48 hours – so if you’re a member, you’ll be able to access the recording there.

If you’re not a member – I have to say…why not?! Come join us, and get the support you may be looking for. Visit: http://www.wfdconnect.com/join-now.

If you’d like to connect more deeply with Cookie, visit her Web site: http://www.cookietuminello.com. Be sure to sign up for her newsletter, so you can receive her free report: 50 Ways to Go from Overwhelmed to Empowered.

I’ll let you all know when the recording is posted.

Oh, and BTW…the power came on, the house was quiet, and the call went on without a hitch! So much for fear and anxiety!

Love to you all,

Kim

The call was great! She hit on some wonderful topics – it was a welcome reminder to not let fear, anxiety or the unknown keep us from pursuing our dreams and living life to the fullest. Thanks Kim!

I’m so happy you were there with us Kristan! And, you’re right; Cookie hit on some amazing valuable points of interest. Clarifying our core values, and being clear about what we want and need in life. I can’t wait until the call is posted for others to enjoy and benefit from. :)
