Ah, the joy of nerves…

Posted on: 08-18-2009 Posted in: Uncategorized

Hello, dear women;

Could I have been any more nervous, and survive? I don’t think so. Despite all my second guessing, I am glad to have had you all join me today for our Launch event: a conversation about “expansion” with Karen Cappello. I loved the exercise Karen had us do: pick a person you admire and write three aspects about them. Mine?

Elizabeth I

A woman with…

1. leadership skills

2. intellectual-gifts

3. a powerful presence

Ah, there’s my role model. Now, I’m intellectual; and I’m working on developing the other qualities. How about you? Who’s a favorite person of yours, and what qualities do they have that you admire?

Guess what? You probably share at least one of those qualities – and all three are your personal keys to expansion.

Sweet!

Wish you ALL could have been there; as there were only 100 lines available, I’m sure some of you didn’t make it on the line. The remedy? Come on the line earlier next time – I promise to be there to greet you.

Love!

Kim
